Help location for windshield mirror needed

https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...a1d7e9d623.jpg

I got a new windshield today, the guy who put it in got one with a mirror bracket so he glued one on. It is off center of the windshield. He is going to fix it but the old glass is gone so I cant measure it.
Can someone measure if their mirror is in the center of windshield measure side to side? And then, how far down from the top is it suppose to be?
Thanks guys

I don't suppose the sun visors are installed to determine whether the rear view mirror can be positioned where ya like..... ?

No, but that's a good idea. I just kinda guessed it should be center of the hood paring line? which should be the center of the glass?

The button should be centered on the sun visor bracket. I dunno anymore cuz my button fell off and no matter how careful I prepped and cleaned the area the button wouldn't stick... I'd find the rear view mirror on the dash. :-arrgh

My solution was to fab a bracket to mount under the sun visor bracket with a down-arm... I welded that stupid button to the arm. FAILS NO MORE. :-X22

The mount button is 2 5/8" down, measured from the w/s rubber seal the top of the mount tab.

And letting the tape measure follow the curve of the w/s, it is 31" on the dvrs side. That is from the w/s rubber seal to the l/h side of the tab and 31.5 on the passenger side.
