What's largest tires we can run on stock suspension?
Having issues finding exact numbers, need to decide quickly if I'm going to put a 2.5" level kit on my front. If I can put a 34" wheel/tire on with no rubbing, I'll probably not lift. Don't need to go any higher than that.... for now.
I don't have the snow plow package. I would go with aftermarket 18x9 wheels. What's the largest tire I could fit without any issues? My current OEM 17" wheels/tires measure just at 31" and look ridiculous! Thanks! :-jammin |
If you're at stock height, I wouldn't go more than ~35" in tire diameter, or you risk tire rub when you're turning.
The stock 275/70/18 that Ford puts on a lot of the trucks is 33.2" in diameter. Unfortunately, there aren't many bigger 18" tire sizes in a Load Range E A 295/70/18 has a diameter of 34.3" A 305/70/18 has a diameter of 34.8" |
Thanks for the reply!
I am going with Nitto Grapplers G2 in 295/70/18 on some Pro Comp 18x9 wheels. I'll post pics in a week once I get it and my new suspension stuff installed! |

I'd put some 285/75 on stock 18" Wheel with zero issue. |
Has anyone fit a 305/70/18 with stock wheels and suspension?
|
Found where someone did it with a 20" wheel. I am looking at this size too, or even a 325/65R18.

I had 325 65 18 on stock wheels on my 2012. Slight rub at full lock on driver side
