Looks just like the one I test drove.

That is a nice White.

I am about ready to give up! I ordered my 2016 f350 lariat on 6/16/15 and it is still not scheduled to be built. I called ford and they have no answers. I bought this truck to tow a new fifthwheel that's sitting in my driveway. How long does it take to be scheduled. I am now at over 8 weeks and I don't have anything different than the day I ordered it.
I NEED HELP!

Is there a vin# issued for it yet??????
Crystal can help with that if you don't have.
If there's a vin it will be built.

PM FordService aka Crystal on here. She will find out for you. Also if you haven't noticed many of these order builds take 12 or so weeks. You build looks like a Mid September delivery judging by the date of the order to what has been seen around here historically.

Hedgehog1 08-13-2015 07:28 PM

As of right now, I don't even have a vin#. I PMed crystal, hopefully I see some good new tomorrow.

Has your dealer given you your DORA paperwork?

SWV10 08-14-2015 01:37 PM

My F350 was built yesterday and a big Thank you to Crystal for all of her updates.

The etis.ford page states the build date as well.

So far, COTUS comes up with Zero results, it just doesn't work at all.

Hedgehog1 08-14-2015 03:28 PM

Congrats on yours being built, mine just got a VIN# today so I wonder how much longer it will take. I ordered mine two weeks before you, just don't understand.

What size is your Dealer, don't know if that makes a difference or not but some claim it does.
Did you ever get a copy of your "DORA" from your Dealer? I was required to sign it as it being correct as Vehicle ordered with all options I added.

Next, you will need your Window Sticker, everybody has to go through this process, from day 1 of the order through the steps to be built and finally shipped to your dealer. Some orders take longer than others and nobody seems to know why that is.

My Window Sticker came available on August 5th, 19 Days after I received my VIN# from my Dealer through the DORA Statement.(F350 ordered on June 30th)

Then it was Built on August 13, 8 days after the Window Sticker was printed.

I researched this process and it takes anywhere from 5-10 days for a Build after the "Window Sticker" is printed.
I'm not saying this is the way yours will go but mine did and seems to be just about the same for most others.
Then there is the Shipping after it is Built, I'm now looking at August 30th but that too can change to sometime in Sept.
Continue to check in with Crystal on a weekly basis.

In about 14-20 days or sooner check the Window Sticker Site. You will need to type in the entire www site for the Window Sticker as shown below but after the title= enter your VIN#, delete Explanation and picture of FWS.

The COTUS Page so far has not worked once for me, comes up with Zero results, the Ford Etis page confirms my F350 build date as: 13.08.2015.

Crystal has been excellent in updating the progress of my Order and had the info on the completed build date before it was stated up on the etis.

Sold my 14F150 XLT Today, I'm thankful I won't be trading it in.
The 16 F350 as of now is schedule for Sept 2nd, in a rental car all of next week..

Hedgehog1 08-23-2015 10:36 AM

I ordered mine 6/16/15. Was originally told 6-8 weeks, now my estimated arrival at dealt is 9/21 but the dealer said to add another week since I got the tough bed. So my 6-8 weeks looks more like 14-15 weeks.

SWV10 08-23-2015 12:12 PM

I too got the Tough Bed Spray in Liner, all I am waiting on now is shipment from the KY Plant and both Crystal and my Dealer are set on Sept 2nd.
Will see if it gets here by set date or at least during the 1st week of Sept.

My F350 came in on Aug 31st, was able to bring it home on the same day.
Rides really good for a shortbox 1-ton, don't really plan to do any major upgrades, I mainly will use it for towing my not too heavy toyhauler and I know it will tow way better than the F150 did.
Little things I will change out like to LED tail lights/LED 3rd brake lite/smoked roof light lenses and look into upgrading the Stereo/speakers.
The surround on the front grill will be painted Ruby Red, add three LED lights to the top of the front grill (like the Raptor look). There may be a Raptor look alike Grill for the SD's soon from the '11-'16 models, I'll see what it looks like, if it is as nice as the one I had on my F150, I just may get it. (as the small pic shows next to SWV10)

Really liking my F350.
Took it out for a cruise up through the nearby mountains today, now at 700 miles. By the 21st of Sept I'll have more than enough miles to tow my rv trailer to the campout.

drymike66 09-12-2015 10:56 PM

Took delivery of my new truck on Sept 12th so far i love it only got 250 miles on it
& of course my 03 has decided to start leaking oil not sure if its head or rear seal, but atleast now i can work on it without losing truck for work
