ScanguageII

Anyone running a scanguageII on their PSD? Pros,cons,ect.....

Nobody is because you can't. PSD of this era is not OBD-II, so the gauge doesn't work.

I was under the impression 1994.5+ power strokes are obdII compliant...

Well, in case you're right, I'll tell you that I have a Scangauge II that I used to run on a GMC Canyon, and now use on a VW Jetta. I like the thing, the mileage calculation is pretty accurate once you've adjusted it over a tank or two. What info you can get out of it depends on what the auto make made available. it comes with programming instructions to read various "non-standard" parameters.

Thanks for the input. I just read that for trucks over 8500GVRW did not require OBDII Requirments so although they are OBDII the PCM for said trucks lack certain PCM parms that allow various kinds of data output...it's like a OBD1.5...lol

I know zero about PSD trucks. does your truck have an OBD2 diagnostic port? If so then the scangauge may work, but if not it won't.
