KOER codes
 

Wanted to see how the new motor is doing after breaking it in and I decided to pull codes. Got mixed results with the KOER tests...

Test 1 - KOEO - Codes: 10, 11c,11o
Thoroughly warmed up vehicle
Test 2 - KOER - Code: 14c
Cleared codes in KOEO mode
Test 3 - KOER - Codes: 13r, 24r
Cleared codes in KOEO mode
Test 4 - KOER - Codes: 13r, 23r
Test 5 - KOEO - 10, 11c,11o

Questions:

1. Could the code 14 from test 1 be related to the low RPM issue reported in test 2 (code 13)?
2. In tests 3 & 4 for code 13, what is considered low RPM? I mean, what is the computer using to determine this (I can set this if I find something is out of range)? My Idle in Neutral scalar is set at 830 and I think I idle between 8 and 9 with the cam I have.
3. In test 4, what is range for the TPS? AFIK, the only range was above and below a breakpoint voltage of 1.1 and at idle I am well below that. I think it's set to 0.85 or so. Again, I could adjust this in the computer if there is a setting for it. I have the TPS set there because I was working with a wide range of the idle stop screw on the throttle body. I have to open it much more with the blower and I haven't set it back (because I didn't think there was this range).

Truck runs fine on the road, not as if it's missing the RPM calculation or anything. I don't see the check engine light come on while driving.

Are you counting blinks or using a code reader? What computer did you use for the mass air conversion?

This is a code reader with digital read out. The computer is an A9P.

The reason I ask is that the 10 is not a valid code and you got something different each time. Might be worth running it once counting the blinks visually too just to double check the reader.

I found this:

SEPARATOR PULSE
The separator pulse is a single pulse that indicates the END of hard fault codes and the BEGINNING of memory codes.
It will show up as a code 10 on most digital testers.
