Door Courtesy Lights
How do you replace bulbs in the door courtesy lights in say a '94 F150 XLT? do you have to remove the door panel, or does the lens just come off somehow? Thanks! Rick

The lens just pops right off. It is pretty easy, except those little bulbs are hard to grab.

I have always loosened up the lower door panel enough to get hand behind it and give the wire pigtail going into light housing a twist and the entire assmbly comes right out making it easy to get at bulb.
I was always afraid of breaking the lense cover because it doesn't look like it is designed to seperate from the housing but if yours does you could always buy a pair of cushioned pliers for removing the bulb: https://www.google.com/search?q=ligh...ht+bulb+pliers https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...4e3a22efc0.png |
