front disk brake swap

Hi all, I have a 69 F100 with drum brakes all around. My question is will front disk brakes from a 73-79 f100 bolt on to the 67-72 spindles, or what is the cheapest way to get front disk brakes on my truck? Thanks!

Strokin, Short answer yes. I bought a 76 donor, parked it beside my 66, dropped the I-beams from the 66, then the 76, slid them over and bolted them up under the 66. All bolt hole exchange. I also used the power steering from the donor, so you will need to find one with the same engine & tranny as you have or want to go to for pump & column install.

Buy your donor so you will have all the necessary parts needed. :)

Up to 79 I beams will bolt in.Also need proportion valve, brake booster and master cylinder. These are better to get the brake pedel also 78and 79 are different for the mounting hole are moved and the pedel sits low pretty close to the floor.I put a 77 set up in mine aswell as power steering.
