Good looking truck, I dont know if Ive seen pictures of it before, what have ya all changed on it?
tires, rims, leveling kit and some scattered scratches and dings...
Looks nice!
I gotta admit, i do love the stance after a leveling kit. Why they dont level them properly from the factory is beyond me. |

I put the taller rear blocks in mine when I leveled it. It has the same rake as factory, just higher. Headlights in the eyes were part of my reason, along with not likeing the "bum heavy" look if you carry a sack of potatoes in the box...

Your ride is looking good Sherm! ;)
thanks all. working on the stereo now :)
You sound like my son, he`s always messing with his stereo in his 01 F350 Super Crew and there`s no rear seat anymore....... :-X21
I used to mess with the stereo as much as taking away seating to get it to go boom really loud.
If my assumption is right, sherm is needing his back seat, Im curious to hear what ya all have on the go stereo wise sherm, as I love loud tunes! |
With a 2nd vehicle, my back seat spends most of its time in the upright position allowing room for the tools that I don't like to carry in my trailer.
I'm not going too wild, 2-10" subwoofers with monoblock amp, around 500w rms. Ripped everything apart tonight and took it out of the truck. Kept getting a hum through the speakers no matter what I tried, then when I started the truck the engine noise was transmitting through the speakers. Got fed up and removed it for the time being. Will tackle it when I have more patience... Could be speaker level inputs giving me grief as I've never dealt with them before. Usually would have aftermarket deck to power everything. I wanted to keep the stock head unit this time... |
I like those rims, nice looking truck and black is always makes a vehicle look a little sharper.
First thing I get rid of when i upgrade the stereo is the stock deck. They have greatly improved them from the factory, but for very little money you can get a aftermarket deck that will spank the factory deck!
My problem is I don't want to lose the Sync and Sattilite radio. To get an aftermarket deck with built in Bluetooth and Sirius will cost me 400+, then the harness, dash bezel kit, more time, (which I'm short of at the moment) more patience, (also very short of at the moment). I'm strongly considering returning the stereo equipment and putting the money into tuner/intake/exhaust.
