Filling up the wood shed for next winter. Five more loads to go. |
And all of these years I've been using our manure spreader to spread manure....
silly me.... |

On the third load. Each a little over a cord. Shed holds about five cord. Takes about four to heat my house for the winter. |

The wife and I recently took a 3 week journey from NC to Moab, UT and back. Across 7 states, 4595 miles, 652g of fuel pulling 21k lbs with the F350 DRW. I'd say the ole girl did some serious work, amazing how well it tows our '45 TY.

Hope lil dually ate her wheaties today. When i bought the patio stones there was a little over a ton of them. Now 3/4 of them is left. Then the surrounding stones. 20 landscape timbers. And a fully loaded trailer. Something tells me my tank is going to feel small. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...a7d7705e6c.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...82e41ebc24.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...1b85f6dc88.jpg |
First real heavy load in the truck. Just over a yard of 3" river stone. I finally got around to finishing a project I started about 2 years ago. It was for around the Lilac brush that is top center of the photo. When I went to the landscape supply yard, the girl behind the counter asked if my truck could handle the weight. (standard question there) I said well if the truck can't handle the weight I got bigger issues. I told her my 250 was wrecked and I upgraded to a 350 and I have plenty of capacity. She said their river stone is usually around 2600 pounds / yardł When I got loaded the loader did recognized me and asked what happened to my old truck. I told him this is the new ride. He was even more gentle than normal on the load out. The truck took it like a champ.
