I've taken most of that route... We drove it from Ste. St. Marie to Regina. Then in Regina angled up to Edmonton. Thunder bay was neat, but the rest was like I-80 east of you.
But you avoid some major US pain in the butt traffic cities by going that way. |

We will be taking the Canadian route as well. All our passport cards are ready to go. I figure if I fill up with fuel just before we pass over the boarder we will be able to make Maine in one tank.
