yes a semi can carry 20,000 lbs on rears but have you ever noticed that they don't squat much as a pickup does with only 5-8k. if you do it protect the bags and lines from rubbing on anything and expect to replace bags about every 3-5 years as they seem to develop leaks at about that much use.

Yep, I planned on making little triangle gussets. We have leveling valves laying around at work. I didn't think about the sway bar... I'll have to find something...

Use a Haldex PR series valve, they have a built in dump port that's much faster than waiting for the whole suspension to vent through a dash switch. With that valve, you just put pressure to the dump signal port, and it'll vent the whole deal in seconds.
