Dear Bill,

This is my Truck:

https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...c311c66a96.jpg

i have rebuild all Wirings on this Truck, the Tank selectorvalve works as it should, i can switch from front to rear Tank and the rigth Fuellines are open then. So this works on my truck.

My Problem ist, the rear Tank was rotten, so i let it replace in the USA, but they build in a Sendingunit for the Front Sidetank (and they broke this new Unit as they install it :-arrgh) The front Tank is not the original one, it is a Alumium tank that is fix with Strapes under the Truck after the Cabin, there goes only a Fueltube inside without a Sending unit.

They use a externeal Fuelpump to bring the Fuel to the Carb, with a simple switch under the Dash:-X04

I will bring back the Truck to the original conditions and i also will have the Dual Tanks agin!

Best regards

Torsten

Where is the fuel pump located, mechanical on the engine block or combined with the sending unit inside the tank?

E5TZ-9002-E .. 19 Gallon Aft-Axle Steel Fuel Tank / Obsolete

1985/86 F350 Crew Cab / 1985/86 F150/350 with 117" - 133" - 138" - 155" - 168" wheelbases.

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 1 = 513-731-3304.

DIEHL'S FORD SALES in Grantsville Maryland has 1 = 301-895-5135.

btw: That's a minty Lincoln Continental Mark IV you have. Where in Germany are you located?

Dear Bill,

the fuel Pump was in the rear Tank, so it was the Fuelpump and sendingunit combination.

I will also build in the 19 Gallon sidetank with Fuelpump and sendingunit combination. (i think this will be no Probleme)

I have no mechanical Pump on the Engine.

We buy this Truck as a Promotioncar and to picup or bring the Customercars to there Homeplace, we deal with Classiccars on FullsizeCars UG - Home and my Carshop is Lincolnparts - Ihr kompetenter US-Car Service in der Lüneburger Heide

The 1976 Lincoln Mark IV was on the Truck for our Classiccarmeeting in August now it is sold to a Customer.

I live in the Northern Part of Germany in 29328 Fassberg this is between Hamburg and Hannover.

I'm usually leery of LMC's applications, but 40 4084 85/86 7.5L (460) seems correct, see note E below.

The same sender/pump that fits F250 also fits F350, though LMC doesn't say so.

I haven't been in your part of Germany, but in 2000, spent 3 weeks taking a self guided 3 German wine road tour. 2001, spent two weeks in Berlin w/a one day bus trip to Dresden.

When in Berlin, spotted a minty Borgward Isabella, that was once popular in CA, but haven't seen one here for many years.

A pal of mine has two Horch Cabriolets (one supposedly owned by Rommel) and a Maybach-Zeppelin dual cowl phaeton.

Dear Bill,

i get the Sendingunit for the rear Tank from LMC, it fit's and work perfekt, so they realy sell the right on for this Truck and Tank! I am verry happy today, i have build in two new Tanks, a complete new wiring for the selectorvalve and Sendigunits with Fuelpumps. And it works as it should at the time the truck was new :-X22

Thank you for the protection that i not buy the wrong Sendingunit!
