I think this was a little much. Around 4600 pounds of wheat in the two bags.

Tough to show a picture of it working when its performance is terrible and Ford will not respond.

Welcome to the Trailerhood!!!

My other half is the parts manager for our local Ford dealer (along with Toyota, Jeep and Dodge) and I can tell you that Ford as an entity has hands down the worst customer service in the biz... With that said I'm on my 3rd Super Duty and I love'em...

Did they soften up the springs that much in the newer trucks or is that wheat a whole lot heavier than 4600 lbs??? My 06 F350 just starts touching the overload springs at 3500lbs and doesn't move a whole lot after that.
Regardless that's a very nice looking truck!

Thanks.

I have never owned a Ford before this pickup. Always had Chevys before this so I don't know what to think of the springs on the rear. I am confident in the weight of the wheat though. I suppose it could have been as much as 5,000 pounds but if I remember right they only charged me for 38 bushels per bag at 60 pounds per bushel and I doubt they under charged me.

So far it has treated me very well. I enjoy it quite a bit. It now has slightly over 150,000 miles on it. I suspect I'll be running it out to 250,000 plus.

Yesser, it gets your adrenaline flowing at times for sure. This was just a little "poser" shot... Just did a 4 link coil conversion on the rear and its awesome. This was actually the first trail after doing it.

And thank you. :-jammin

I just saw where you are from... Some friends of mine live in Orillia and have a Scrambler... They have come down for my even twice, great folks.
