Thanks guys!! It's pretty much bone stock, but have many mods in mind.

275/85/16. They came on the truck when I bought it about four years ago. Looking to go bigger when these ones wear out. I don't drive it that often, so that may be a while.

I think the 87-91's are my least favorite body style but mine is growing on me after almost a year. I took off the running boards and that helped a bit.

The reason I ask is because to me they look like industrial tires, which is what I was initally looking for when I went tire shopping. I'm just trying to find out how the sizes run for tall and narrow tires, like for super duty's. |

This is "BIG BRUCE" 6 inch rough country,3 inch body lift. Just rebuilt 302, 5 speed manual 35x12.5 bfg mudd terrains. i still gotta modify the roll bar a little to make it a better fit then throw some lights on there. |
I got within three blocks of my home before having to turn back due to the water being up to my doors. Hurricane Ike turned my neighborhood into a salty river.
I crawled under my truck and sprayed what I could on the tranny with wd-40 and sprayed my entire frame with greese. My tranny has adopted a new oddity since then, however. http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/e...7_0032_032.jpg And here's my dad pointing out how high the water got in the garage. Three foot. http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/e...8_0031_031.jpg |

I know a 285/75/16 is a 33x11 or so. A 275 is prob 32 or so. You can go up to 36 on that truck. Like my F350

Only mods are K&N drop-in filter and a Flowmaster 50 series, and we've only had to replace some seals and gaskets...no major work. She's a good ol' truck, the day I sell will be a sad one but I've just got to have a Superduty someday :-jammin |
