hey bill... yup got that bulletproof 300.i ocassionally take it off road, really it depends on what i drive past and what kind of mood im in.. as far as the tires go, i couldnt be any happier. they roll across the road quiet as can be, but still provide the agressive tread that i want. you said that you couldnt get into my gallery? thats strange ill have to check it out...

Welcome to the forum. Thats a good looking truck. Since you already have the grille etc painted, what about the bumper? That would look sweet.

What color should he go with? If it matches the grille and body, it'll take away too much contrast.

I don't think so. Take a look a Jason's truck. It would look bad ass if the bumper was color matched especially since the truck is lowered.

Jason's truck looks pretty whicked. I love the look of the first gen Lightnings.
One of the baddest trucks I've ever seen on here was a '94-ish short bed painted a Super Duty burnt orange or something like that - looked maroonish? had 18 inch rims and fat tires. It looked almost like it was lowered to sit on the tires. Really just a amazing looking truck (I had eye sex with it).
My point being, the bumper was chrome. I think he should either paint the bumper to match or find a chrome one.

How many miles on your motor? Mine reads past 214,000 now. I've had a mild knock for years.. Can't tell where it's coming from or if it's even a knock. It seems to sound louder from the bottom end but I can't really tell. Doesn't seem to matter though, truck still runs like a champ! Gotta love the 300.. Kinda like an old dog. Slow, but faithful.
