I am selling my 2003 Excursion Limited with 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel. I am the original owner and still have the window sticker. It’s been a great vehicle for the past 22 years, but it’s time to let it go. It has some engine mechanical issues that I don't have the time to deal with. For short trips around town, 15-20 miles, it does just fine. But l don't trust it on longer trips right now. I don't have a local diesel mechanic I trust, so I do all the maintenance myself. I believe once this issue gets resolved it will last another 10-15 years with regular maintenance. I just don't have the time to figure out the issue. Plus, my kids are all grown up now, so I don't really need a vehicle this size anymore. I think it will make someone a great vehicle once the engine is repaired.

It is almost completely stock. I added a fuel pressure gauge and did the Blue Spring upgrade (consistent fuel pressure of ~60 psi). Otherwise, it’s completely stock.

An aftermarket DVD system was added by the dealer in 2003, and I replaced the DVD head unit in 2010, We haven't tried to use it in over 10 years, so I doubt it works. The radio head unit is original, but the CD player doesn’t work.

No one has smoked in it, ever! 

It has leather seats and I've had cloth seat covers on the second and third rows since day one. The front seat bottoms were replaced with new leather about 10 years ago. They look factory. 

The front bumper has a small dent that has some surface rust. The rear bumper has a small spot where the paint is bubbled up with some rust under the paint. The tow hitch has some surface rust. But the body itself is rust free.

The driver’s fender was replaced about two years ago. I had a tire blow out and tore up the fender. Everything has been repaired, and it looks great. On the plus side, it has almost new Goodyear Wranglers with almost all the tread left. It's had a few very minor fender bends involving the bumbers, but, other than the fender issue mentioned above, nothing significant.

Other issues that may need to be addressed at some point:
- rear passenger door needs a new door stop, it won't hold open if parked on a slope
- rear passenger door door open indicator has been bypassed
- one of the locking clips on the roof rack is broken
- shocks are original, probablly need a replacement soon
- very slight leak in the steering gear
- engine oil leak, most likely from a valve cover gasket
- glow plugs and injectors are original (I don't mess with things that aren't broken), they will likely need to be replaced eventually
- auto on headlights may have an issue, but I haven't looked into it yet

I am not really in a rush to sell. I'll continue to troubleshoot the engine issue and maybe I'll get it fixed. I'll update this post if I do.
