Description:

I have this California truck I bought last year. It was purchased new in San Diego by a Navy guy according to his widow. They spent most of their time in CA and AZ until he retired in South Dakota. I bought it from her.
Some kid ran into my wife and totaled her Cherokee. I am considering selling her to help pay for my wife's replacement car. Here is what I have done over the past year along with fresh paint. She is imperfect and still has flaws, but she is a vast improvement from her former days and a great daily driver. I drove from South Dakota to Florida and back last year. She had some surface rust but nothing an average car does not have. The tires are pretty good. I was going to replace them later this coming fall. I drive a few hundred miles each month without hesitation.
351W C6
Pressure washed carpet
Replaced the following
Both Exhaust manifolds and gaskets
Muffler and tailpipe (very quiet)
Valve cover gaskets
Both fuel tanks and sending units
Fuel pump (carter)
Brainbox, plugs, wires, distributor, cap, and rotor (distributor does not sit quite right and slowly leaks oil around the seal). Just in case I need to drive it in the winter, I did not clean all the oil off the bottom. Help keep the salt crap off of the surface. The rear main will need to be replaced at some point. I have not messed with either.
Replaced
Headliner

a/c compressor Four Seasons

rebuilt the 2150 carb and replaced the electric choke
Four Goodyear Wrangler March 2025
serviced the trans earlier this past spring. Pulls and runs like a champ.
The Tach is the only thing wrong with the truck. It works when it wants to

I have many more photos. I am only allowed to upload so much on here. I am not set in stone on the price, but I am somewhat open to negotiation. Many told me to ask for 11K to start with. So, the ball is in your court. I am open to partial / trade. What do you have?
