Description:

1977 Ford F-150 with a 400M motor, 4x4 with a manual transmission and factory A/C. Lovingly referred to as "Dawn".

Has been a project vehicle that I sadly do not have the time or resources to finish. Body is pretty straight and besides a couple bare spots on the paint with a bit of patina it is rust free.

These trucks have been steadily increasing in value over the last few years and this is a solid basis for a build.

Currently out of DMV system

Truck will need to be trailered.

Have video available of last time truck was started a few years ago.

Done:

1977 351M swapped for 1978 400M (later model same series motor for smog purposes, replacement engine was pulled from a running driving show car)

New Brake Booster

Rebuilt rear drums

I believe new brake pads up front

All new belts and hoses

New Starter

New Alternator

Vacuum Hoses replaced

All necessary smog components in engine bay replaced or function checked

New gas tank and fuel pump (Has Stabil in fuel currently in truck)

Lots of other little stuff I can not remember at this time

Has a few plastic bins full of parts (Take off’s that have been replaced and some random stuff) that will go with it

Needs:

A bath

Hasn’t been started in a few years so probably a battery

Exhaust from Y pipe back

Needs proportioning valve for front brakes (Truck currently does not have working brakes due to this)

Bench seat cover or replacement seat

Gauge cluster is currently removed (New gauge printed circuit was installed on cluster but cluster was never reinstalled)

Tires have good tread but are probably needing replacement due to age

Truck is a solid foundation for someone with a little time and know how. It would be a pretty easy project to get on the road. But it is going to be a project.

Not real sure where to price it at but tossing it into the wild for $6000 but open to offers.

First pic is pre camper shell and tires, second is how she sits now.
