Why selling?

We no longer have an RV and live in the DC suburbs (our move to rural MN didn’t happen). It should go to a home that will put it to good use. Plus, my wife wants a more city-friendly SUV.

What I’d want to know if I were buying this truck:

• Replaced battery terminals. This fixed a shifting issue. (UPDATED 12/5/23)
• Roof paint is faded but rust-free.
• MANY upgrades and well cared for during my ownership (April 2021-present)
• Doesn’t leak oil
• Gets 17mpg when highway cruising
• Has the rare front heated seats (and they work great)

THE LONG LIST OF UPGRADES

• From previous owner: New rocker panels, reupholstered driver’s seat, remote start.
• Hydra chip
• Upgraded radio for Android/iPhone connection – includes rear backup camera.

Light upgrades

• New headlamps with professional relay kit for extra power to halogen lights.
• Full interior LED swap, *including dash lights*. About 75% are premium VLEDs. (see forum post).
• Reverse lights upgraded to VLED V6 extreme (they are blindingly bright!)

Vehicle history

Purchased in April 2021 at 199,693.

You’ll receive a folder with receipts of roughly $4,500 in maintenance performed since April 2021. It will include vehicle inspection report from time of purchase, plus any codes it has thrown that the mechanic flagged.

Oil always changed at 5,000 miles or less.

• Full paint correction: clay bar, three layers of compound and polish using a rotary polisher, then finally a hand wax. (Only 6-8 hours of manual labor!)

Other notes

• Took it on two cross-country trips in 2021-2022 (Maryland to Minnesota), with no issues. Note: I sprayed the underside with Fluid Film before a winter trip to Minnesota.
• Carfax will say I’m the third owner. In practice, it’s a two-owner vehicle. The guy I bought it from said the first owner mostly just parked the car until he bought it.
