Description:
After ripping out my Cylinder Head on my 96 ford F150,4.9, 300i6 motor, I discovered a large crack. If it can't be fixed Ill be desperately in need of a cylinder head. According to my mechanic friend the following information on my motor is of vital importance to make sure its the right head.
My truck is a 96 Ford XL F150,4.9, 300i6, with a 5 speed manual transmission.
The 8th digit in my vin is a "Y"
The engine code is 6K263BA
and finally, the air pump goes to the manifold, NOT the cylinder head.
