Low mileage luxurious heavy duty tow truck! I used this to tow a 20k toy hauler to Spearfish, S.D. The trip was a dream. Of note was the trip back, where we experienced heavy cross winds. The “of note” part is that I hadn’t noticed much of anything until we stopped for lunch, and opening the doors nearly blew me out of the truck! I had been driving through really strong cross winds and hadn’t even noticed. Having those dual rear wheels and wider stance makes a huge difference! Plus pulling up steep grades and down, no strain on the truck, no sweat for the driver, fantastic control during all of it.
The quoted price is within the Kelley Blue Book range of $74,495 to $80,956. I found nearly identical trucks being sold for $85,700, $83,999, and $80,500. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑲𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒚 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔𝒏’𝒕 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 is that the truck also has customized extended rear mud flaps, the bed has a Line-X spray liner, a B&W 25K Companion 5th Wheel Hitch (puck-style, easy to remove!), and a Class V Weigh Safe ball mount rated for up to 18,500 pounds of trailer weight and up to 2,200 pounds of tongue weight! The interior dash has dual 1” ball mounts, useful for such things as a RV GPS, trailer rear view camera, etc. I have also added both USB and 12v power outlets under the mounts to keep cables from being all over the truck! In fact, if you want a RV GPS, I also have a Garmin RV 890 that we could discuss. And having Ford’s Premium Extended Protection Plan for 100K coverage saves you a ton of worries about anything failing – even those expensive LED lights! I have maintenance records for everything that has been done. Every oil change, every visit to the dealership. I planned on keeping this truck until I croaked, so I made sure that it was well cared for. But family health concerns resulted in the RV being sold, and it’s just silly to drive around in a dually when there is no load for it. But my loss can be your gain!
