Description:

Bought in 2005 and drove it steadily until 2018. Since have driven it only when needing a truck. It ran fine until 6 months ago. The symptoms are it will start after much cranking, but then dies in less than 5 minutes, like it is starved of fuel. My next step would have been to pull a tank and clean out the lines to/from the tank. But I really do want a newer model truck with more comforts for my old bones and since I am decidedly not a mechanic, it is better for some one who is a mechanic and wants a classic to take it on. 
Aside from the fuel delivery problem, it also needs a transmission job. I was entertaining a conversion to a stick, but mechanics who know me have dissuaded me. 
It has a baldwin style bypass filter and has had for at least 12 years, but aside from that, the engine is stock. I also have the original 8 foot bed if you want that instead or in addition to the service body on it now. Has light rust only on the top and some of the service body. Has several hail dings from the famous 2016 Wylie hail storm of biblical proportions. 
It has always been a work truck and if your are thinking of getting it to turn into a show truck... you might look elsewhere.
Before I added the service body, it was consistently giving me 17+ mpg average. With the added weight, I only get 15.
