Hay guys,
I have been in and out of here for a while now and what I cannot seem to find aftermarket is;
A hood latch for my f-600 the release is mounted on the bottom side. The one they sell for the f-300 on LMC has the release lever going straight out at a 45* Angle and it ends up directly behind the grill with no room to pull. I have not seen the correct one as when I got this truck they had the hood tied down with a piece of rope. I replaced that with a set of rubber ball bungee style hood tie downs. it has worked for quite some time now BUT when facing a strong headwind it does lift some and would really like to get the real thing.It seems to me that the correct release would either point directly down, or have a drop down(dog leg) of about 4" any input would be greatly appreciated as I have learned over the years there is an invaluable wealth of knowledge in this site
