Description:
Got a D1VE 460 block and pair of D3VE heads for sale; they came out of a 1979 F-350. The block is mostly stripped, the heads still have the valves.
I've had these sitting around for 10-15 years waiting to be built up. Now I've decided to swap in a cummins diesel instead.
The block has some slight damage to one of the cylinder walls, I think it's the #1 cylinder. You can see in pictures (pardon the cobwebs). The engine looked like it threw a rod which banged up the bottom edge of the jug, and put two nicks into the cylinder wall.
The damage at the bottom shouldn't matter to anyone except the most high-end engine buillders. The two nics inside the jug should come out with a .30 over-bore (that's what I had planned to do, making a 521 stroker).
I have the main caps and a few other things that go along with the engine.
I also have a 2wd C6 automatic transmission for sale. It was pulled from a good running/shifting early 70s Ford LTD. 351/400/429/460 bellhousing bolt pattern.
I'm not sure what these are worth, so let's say $100 for the engine & heads, and $100 for the transmission.
