Description:
This T98-1R transmission is out of a 1964 F-100. The truck came to me with no engine, so no idea its history. The bell housing that is bolted on should be for a 292 V-8 (Vin Code C). It does come with the bottom flywheel cover plate as well.I confirmed the gear ratios noted in the chart.
The loose bell housing, z-bar and fork would convert for a ford 390/427 motor. If this is not needed. This bell housing has a casting number of C5TA-7505-B which shows it's likely from a 65-67 F100/350. Willing to make a good deal if you do not need this bell housing.
Have available if needed the clutch pedal, another z-bar, and the frame pivot from my '64
This is a heavy part so I can't ship. If you make arrangements with a shipping company, I can drop it off somewhere in the Phoenix or Glendale area .
Willing to trade for misc F-100 parts for my '64. I need flareside fenders, tail gate, steps for in front of the fenders, windshield, lower hood latch/braces, grille and who knows what else, lots of stuff needed as I'm just getting started on this "project" vehicle.
