I am currently trying to do the opposite of what you are trying to. I have a c6 4wd tranny that I am hoping to convert to 2wd. After 170 thosand miles my tranny in my f250 diesel lost 2nd gear and the shop wants more than I paid for the truck 7 years ago. I want to pull my tranny do the swap and wind up with a truck I can use to haul my sandrail and trailer to the coast. good luck to you sgreenly
