    usually a rod or main knock makes the most noise at a constant(no load) rpm. An injector knock will make the same basic noise with rpm.

    might it it very faint seams to go away near 2k rpms i think my new may have killed them

    My 300 isnt knocking, but burns plenty of oil. The diesel in my garage would look real good in a krew kab F350. Are you sure it's not a screwy injector making it knock?

    They can be timed, sure. I dont recall the location of TDC on #1 cyl. Advancing the timing a couple degrees, I have done.

    You dump in more fuel to get more booost. Crank up the fuel screw! Make a Modesto road trip.
