I loved that the city was incredibly commercial, but the site of the church and spring was refreshingly quiet. Was amazing to see the line of wheelchairs, beds, crutches, etc in line for their blessing - humbling!

We lived in Toulouse for 3 yrs, was a blast after picking up the language!

Lourdes is a cool place...yes I got a pint to go for a buddy that was fighting Pancreatic Cancer...sadly that horrible disease took his life almost a year ago now (Thanksgiving time)...but yes I've been to Lourdes FR on business...well actually Toulouse FR and we toured Lourdes...and I'm glad we did...what a beautiful and spiritual place!

Was cruisin' around your web shots to see the liberty. Saw you've been to Lourdes, FR and got a pint to go. I still have mine around here somewhere.
