Do you remember what length you cut the column off at?

I looked at your pictures this morning. The before pictures before you changed out the frame and suspension, your truck is setting the way I want my 53 to sit. Had you done something with the springs to make it lower then stock?

I used the hangers off the Ranger; I just centered the axle, measured then drilled holes. I used clamps to hold the springs on while I put some weight on them. I only marked one side like this then removed everything and used the frame to measeure the other side in case it was off then both sides would be the same. They should work on the 53 since both frames are the same the springs are just longer. In the back I didn't have any room to go up/down the hangers just did fit. I think I have some close-up in one of my galleries on the hangers bolted to the frame.

Hey Jaye, would the springs you used work on my 53? I know the 53's springs were shorter then on 55s and 56s. What did you use for the hangers?
