Conversation Between 97powersmoke and mezcalero280cal

Hey powersmoke my 6.0 finally blew up at 145000 miles . It was never any good, with one break down after another. My question at this point is .... Is it anyway possible to replace the 6.0 engine with a 7.3 ? The truck is 2008 f-450 single cab and I don't see me spending $16,000 to replace an engine that has been nothing but break downs. What do you recommend ..... I need to keep this truck working...
