Hey Mike how yah doing..I am a new forum member and have a technical question for yah...maybe you can help me..i am replacing ball joints onmt 2001 ford f250 superduty..I have read the articles including a link you posted ..all very helpful...however my axle shafts have a large..about four inch round metal dust shield that goes up against the outer seal..appears to be part of the axle..I am not able to remove or install new seals becuase they won't fit over this shield....haven't see this shield in any photos...any thoughts....Thanks Roger Scott
