Come to think of it, Kevin (82f100460 or some such) asked me a few weeks ago shortly after the High Park fire started, but I appreciate the thoughts, anyhow.

Friend of mine lives ~5 miles from one of the earlier fires they managed to put out in less than a week.

Trees from forest fires make for excellent home-heating firewood (it's VERY well seasoned and dry) so finding wood for the next several coming winters shouldn't be hard at all.

I actually thought about you at work today...I had to make some arrangements for potential evacuations of some CG folks stationed at NORTHCOM, and it occurred to me you aren't far from there...
