    dvguy,
I would use the 0° slot with the stock cam.
It made a night and day difference when I finally got rid of the retarded and sloppy timing set in my truck.

1986 460 carb RV - timing question - I am putting in a double roller chain and gears in the a.m. I took the beast apart after work and it has original nylon toothed upper gear and OEM chain. Is the original set up 2 degrees off? When I put the new stuff on what do you recommend? It has + and - 2 degrees and 0 degrees. From reading I am not sure if I have to compensate for an OEM RV setup. Thank you sorry for the short notice
