    They dig holes all over and sleep in the cool dirt! LOL. They do not really seem too affected by the heat. Be it 20 below or 100F they run around and play and do not seem disturbed.

    Pyrenees are 'great' dog's but I can't imagine how they deal with west Texas heat.
    They are shepherds, and as such bond well with families and other pets/livestock.
    ANY intruder should, and will, be considered a threat and likely lead to an aggressive encounter.
