You have two options, only one if you want to avoid the dealer. You can have the PATS deactivated with a PCM tune, most of the site sponsors should be able to write a tune without PATS. The other option is a PATS bypass module for doing remote starts and triggering it to work all of the time. Or you can go to a dealer, they hook up their software and program in two keys, then you can program as many more as you like (I think there is a limit, but it's somewhere between 4-8.)

I have bought a 1998 mark 8 repo with no keys, can you tell me how to turn off the pats system? Thanks dc
