Conversation Between Fat Diesel and lls88

Hi. I don't know much if anything about a 2006 so not much help there. I know a fair amount about the 99-03 diesels though. The 99-03 7.3 is the most reliable of all the late model Ford diesels. Unfortunately they're now more than ten years old so if you get one, try to go lower on miles. Anything below 150k is good.

Im trying to learn about Diesel Trucks. I need something to that I can haul my horses with, my Suburban had died. I've been eyeing Ford F250 and F350 for quite some time. I know nothing about diesel except they have superior towing ability. I'm also looking at a used 2006 that has a theft salvage title, what should I look for. Will also need a diesel mechanic, south San Jose/Morgan Hill area. I need help!!
