Hi Brad: My DD is a 2009 Subaru Forester with plastic hubcaps and a stick. Simple viscous limited slip diff in the center. That's my simple utility vehicle for now. I really wanted an Escape but they only offered FWD with a stick and there was exactly one 2008 in stock east of the Mississippi... I so much want to buy American, being a UAW family member and a lifetime Detroiter. Waiting for the right replacement... Take care, George

Thanks for the rep. I' e thought for a long time on what a basic rugged utility ebicle should be. Sadly, I doubt we'll ever see one produced again.
