Need Assembly Info 47 PU Hood springs and brackets
I need some information and pictures for the assembly of the hood hinges and hood springs for my 47 ford PU. I have the parts, but it was disassembled when I got my truck. If someone has a picture of the springs mounted to the bracket on the truck and to the hood I would appreciate it.

Hood bracket help
Does anyone have a picture of the correct installation of the hood bracket and spring. I looked through old posts that had pictures, but the pics aren't there anymore. I believe the spring should be on the top of the bracket, facing the engine. Just need to confirm that that is correct. I currently have the spring on the bottom facing outward. That seems to work but I don't think that's the way it was originally. Any help is appreciated!
