Redesigned Expedition
Does anyone know when Ford is planning a makeover for the Expedition. I have not seen anything about it or the F150 changing anytime soon. I have a 99 Expedition with only 19,000 miles, but as soon as a body and/or interior change comes along I'm going to trade. I'd appreciate any info.

I am not sure about the Expi's but Ford has completely changed the Explorer's. They made them wider and longer and kind of futuristic. These new Explorer's are considered to be 2002's but they have them at the dealerships already. Maybe if they changed them for 2002, then maybe the Expi's will be different too. Just a thought.

Redesigned Expedition
I was at the dealership this past weekend inquiring about the same. The salesman told me they are redesigning in 2002, but I don't know how much I'd trust him, as I knew more about the vehicles than he did.

take a look here. I was reading something that stated it was going to be March 2002, or 2003 before the new one came out. They are going to be reducing the weight and the drag to help with gas milage and there is going to be some performace increases as well.
