Looking for western mirror for my 72 F250
The mirror measures 6" x 10", and is mounted in a stainless steel frame.
It must have the 3 vertical lines down the back, as well as the Ford logo at the bottom.
I have a fellow in Texas who may have this mirror, and I'm waiting to hear back.
NumberDummy - Are any of these mirrors available NOS?
Not sure what to offer for this mirror, either...
Any comments are much appreciated.
Thanks,
John
Sorry for the huge pics, but I was unable to downsize them...
check it out:

looks like my camper special parts truck has mirrors like that. I'll be home in 45 minutes to help my boy tear this thing apart as it's giving up most of it's body to my plow truck.
I'll have a look see if they are in decent shape or not.
or at least if one is in decent shape.
I saw your donor earlier, but the posting date was April, so I just figured they were gone...
If they're what I'm looking for, send me a pm, and we'll talk.
Thank you for your time,
John
PS I love your "back in the day" picture of Ol' Yeller - those stacks rock! And that story about your uncle & Larry's bar - I totally love that stuff...
Are you missing one completely or just looking for a better one or?
I didn't know if both were good on the plow truck or?
but it looks like I can only make 1 good one out of the 2.
Sorry man. If you have glass for one I can send you the one I don't use. probably doesn't do you any good?
Well, I only need one, cause the passenger side is fine. They're both the same, no?
In any case, if you need them, then you got to use them. I'll keep lookin'. Something will turn up....always does.
Thanks for taking the time to check - I appreciate it.
Regards,
John

I emailed the fellow, and he wrote back. He wanted to know if I could pick them up. I told him that it would have to be mailed, as I live in Canada. I think I lost him at "mail"...
Oh well, I'll just keep looking.
Thanks for your interest in helping, it is much appreciated!

PS, if I were closer, I would have bought the whole truck! $800 is a very good price up here in Ontario for a running truck that isn't all rusted out.
)Anyways, i'll check it out & see if he has a set of these mirrors for ya.
My buddy just sent me this photo in a reply to an e-mail I sent him today.

He told me a while back to just come and get the truck if I need it for parts.
Looks like there is something of value on the truck after all.
Before you drive all the way out there, email your friend and ask him the following:
Does it measure 6" x 10"?
Does it have the 3 vertical bars?
Does it have the ford logo on the back (like in my pictures)?
Is it in reasonable condition?
What does he want for it?
Thanks for all your help!
Regards,
John
He's just up the road from me and I need to scout that truck for parts for my project anyways.
If he's got a good one I'll stick it in the mail for you. I think the US post office has those flat rate boxes, fixed price for what ever fits in the box & i don't think it's too bad of a price to ship. I'm damn near in Canada anyways.
I've had people send stuff to me before, reloading dies, reloading presses... A gascap for a 65 mustang once...
Don't sweat it, If I find you a good one consider it yours & pay back a little favor to someone else down the road some day.
You are a true gentleman. I can hardly believe that you would do that for a perfect stranger! I commend your sense of values. Your parents obviously raised you right. If I can ever do anything for you, please let me know. And if you're ever down Ontario way, I suggest you stop in for cold beer, and we can compare trucks.
It's a pleasure to know you,
John
Dang! I just realized your in Minnesota - I just drove through there last week on my way to Ontario from Vancouver - if I had only known...
