I'm currently going through the wiring phase of my restoration on my '71 f-250 and something went wrong. I had to replace the entire wiring harness b/c mine was chopped beyond remedy.
I installed a harness off a '70 flat/utility bed and everything plugged right in and started up fine BUT when I press on the brake pedal all my instrument gauge cluster lights turn on.
I have triple checked the wiring diagram and have the 2 correct wires going to the brake pedal switch but cant find the flaw. Has anyone gone through this or have any suggestions???
