Brake Vibration

I've noticed when I stop, and let off the brake to start again, there's a slow vibration in the vehicle. It's hard to describe. When forward progress stops, it sits back a little, that's there the vibration is, and when I take my foot off the brake it does it there too. It's not a violent vibration, more of a smooth one, slow pulsating kind, and only when stopped and starting. I'd try to describe it better...but...I can't. The Ford house did say my brakes were "yellow" on the green yellow red system, meaning I needed to watch them, and consider getting them changed out sometime in the near future. I figured either a brake issue, or suspension issue, since there is that clunk when stopping and taking off, I'm guessing can only be the leaf springs, seeing as how my sway bar is sitting in the garage.

Can you feel if it's in the front or rear? Do you feel anything in the brake pedal while stopping or in the steering wheel when you start forward again? Sorry about the questions, just trying to narrow it down some.

The pedal is smooth, and I feel it more in the front. The steering wheel is also smooth, it's more in the body of the vehicle that I feel the vibration. I'll pay close attention to it when I drive it again, it's a slight, almost not/sometimes not noticeable vibration.

Kind of like something is out of balance? Sort of up and down.

I wouldn't say up and down, it's a very small vibration, I wish I could describe it easier but for the life of me I can't. I may just end up taking it to the shop and let someone drive it.

I was thinking ball joint or some sort of tire problem. I had a similar problem but I felt it in the steering wheel. Ended up being a busted belt in the tire. Wish I could be of more help.

Sticky caliper? But it should pull to one side or the other. Just throwing ideas out there.

there is a bit of squeeling when stopping from the right side, possibly going to be a wheel bearing. I'll pull the tire off and check it.

I'd have to replace the entire hub if it was a wheel bearing huh?

Wow the prices are crazy from a parts store to ebay, dang. Thanks for that. I'm not so worried about the price anymore.
What's the best way to check and see if the bearings are bad anyway? I know I can jack it up and check for play in the wheel, any other way?

Leaks, tire wear, or spinning the wheel while off the ground.

Tire wear is none, no leaks, I'm gonna check the play in the tires and see where we're at, but I'm starting to think not bearings.

Was over in the super duty forums, saw a post on slip yokes causing this same issue. Going to lube mine up soon.
