Made the first hook on my truck tonight with the new setup. the changes I made this year were a set of swamps 450/600 injectors, 5.13 gears with front and rear lincoln lockers, new traction bars, bigger wheels and tires, and a few other odds and ends. I have an air to water cooler set up almost ready to go in but didn't have it done in time.
truck ran very well! I came in 4th place witch was good enough for some $$$$
I decided to be pretty conservitve with the setup since it was my first hook of the year and was running about 500lbs light, hitch was a little low, and was running the mildest pulling tune I have. I am looking forward to getting the air to water cooler going and pushing the old girl harder
Looks great!! Any idea how much power you have?? Stock bottom end, do you have a girdle on it? 4th place is great for the first time out with your new setup.

no idea on power it has never been on a dyno, and I dongt want to make any claims with out any proof
the bottom end is compleetly stock, truck just rolled over 220k and as far as I know the pan and heads have never been off.
however I have installed head studs, valve springs and push tubes.
it is all in the tuneing and setup the engine dosent make any power untile you get close to 3000 rpm.
I work at an international truck dealor. I had to replace the grill on a 7400 and the new one came with the emblem in it, so I stole the old one and made it fit in my grill
That is a nice lookin truck you got there.. both of them actually. What was the guy in the background of the video talking about with the Mexico comment? I couldn't really make out what he was talking about there.
