I've just signed up to the forum here and have the opportunity to build a 40 pickup. I have a 1977 Mustang II donor car and want to add the front suspension to the 40’s truck frame. I was hoping someone could send me a copy or a link to a chassis drawing?

r u planning on makin ur own brace for the frame to mount the suspension to or just make ur own

These are just for you to visualize the mounting. I'm sure someone has done exactly what you want to do and will respond to your thread.

I'm not sure yet. I have not gotten that far, right now I'm working on getting the front end off the Mustang. Thanks for your reply.

 

Just a suggestion, buy a MII crossmember from Hiedt's or Chassis Engineering, ect. It'll make the whole thing cleaner, light and stronger. They make them to fit you truck and you can hang your stock stuff off it. And they arent to expensive either. If need, i can get a price from a buddy thats a hiedt's dealer.
