My 03 X grill is broken. What can I replace it with?

My 03 X grill is broken. What can I replace it with?
The honey comb grill part came out of my grill driving down the road and it's lost. I don't think I can buy just that part. Can I only X grills fit my truck or do I have other options?

You can replace with anything that fits an F-250/350, same year model and probably 99-04. I found an XL trim level F-250/350 supreduty grille on craigslist for $50 and had it painted to match the body color for $125. It was really dark gray (argent) to begin with.
Otherwise, call your local salvage yard and see if they have an Eddie Bauer grille that is broken with a salvageable piece like you're looking for. The piece you're missing is on every Eddie Bauer grille for that year and the inserts are all Arizona Beige regardless of the outer edge's color.

I really like the look of the '05 / eBay model.
To this day I see those model years of super duties and think they look much better any anything that came before them and far, far better than any SuperDuties that came after them.
What would a used '05 grill cost and how much cutting/modifying would it take to fit it a 99-04. (Mine is an '02.)
