Ideas for OVERALLS (Country Living at it's Best)
"We must be COOL! We must have STYLE!"
- And some things are just never out of fashion - wether you are tilling a garden, leaning on a barrel at a country store, or even working in a shipyard (believe it or not)...
I've always loved overalls for some reason, maybe it's because of all the pockets... But overalls can be dressed up in a lot of ways -"TIE DYING" is one of them, so is "TIE BLEACHING".
I did the Tie Bleach thing last year, and came up with one set that had the STONE WASHED look, two with a lot of white and blue patches, and one faded evenly all the way down to pale sky blue...
My next thought for this year is a set of Tie Bleached CUT OFF overalls - sorta like cutoff shorts, but with shoulder straps

Come on, Y'all! Jump right on in here... What are your ideas, and how can we make a classic set of field clothing look downright IN STYLE!
That's the look I've got right now.
Tie bleached cutoff overalls?
I've seen some overall shorts, from the early 90's. Brings me back to high school. For the most part, high school was okay, but the fashion from the late 80's and early 90's just wouldn't fly today.
Overalls are (to me) a functional thing. I don't really wish to dress them up. My wife is contemplating getting me some Carharts for my birthday, but I don't really have a place to wear them.
I might have to go through my dad's stuff at my mom's house. There might be a pair of overalls in there somewhere, but I'd just leave them as is and wear them as intended, with the full length pant legs intact.

I was wearing a snugli today.
Snugli® Front & Back Pack Soft Carrier, Black Onyx
Kinda like overalls. Functional. It serves a purpose. It lets you carry a baby, while keeping your hands free to to other things, like sip your coffee.
Loose, floppy light cotton pants that had gathers at the top and bottom. like a very thin pair of sweat pants....
In summer time they were the bomb! You put them on when the wind got chilly, right over your trunks or swim wear.
In the gym they're ideal. Best breathing clothes I ever wore - light and keep the breeze off you! When the sweat pours down, they dissipate it, and they give you lots of room.
They also have POCKETS
I would explore that online if I were you....
Sometimes clothing like that is very difficult to dare yourself into wearing - but it works.
I had a hell of a time with bicycle clothing.....
I just REFUSED TO DO IT for a long time.
Until it hurt me, as a matter of fact....
I was riding that far
