Another newbie expy question...sorry guys

Doors automatically lock when vehicle begins to move forward.
Problem: They don't unlock when put in park. Should they?

Not a problem, they aren't supposed to. Probably safer that way, there are times when you might prefer to not have all the doors unlock just because you are in park.

I think it's annoying!
Especially when I get out and walk around the other side of the truck to let out the wife and kids and the doors are still locked!

Look in your owners manual, you can turn OFF the automatic lock feature if you don't like it.

How annoying would you find it if when you rolled up someplace and someone jumped in an unlocked door just because you put it in park? It is not a bad thing to have control of when the doors will be unlocked. Like mentioned, if you don't like it turn it off.
