A few weeks ago I went away on a weekend four wheeling trip and came home to find that my wife bought a Pinto. The kind that burns hay & grain and makes big messes in the yard. :-staun I stead of polishing my truck I am shoveling something else. I guess she needs her hobbies too.
Oh you sly devil. You know a pinto ultimately turns into a truck. It goes like this: buy pinto, then buy trailer for pinto which of course needs a truck to pull the trailer. Pinto becomes lonely which leads to companion pinto which leads to a bigger trailer and ultimately at least an F-350 PS to pull it all in style. At this point, the wife loses interest and sells both pintos. You, sly devil, keep the truck.
Ya know, the Turbo T Bird engine is basically a Pinto engine with a blower. That was a nice car and an engine with that power in something small and light... Give ya any ideas?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-Oct-02 AT 03:44 PM (EST)]Welcome to the (horse owner's) club! Although it seems painful at first, it gets better. aerocolorado is right - you'll make out on the deal.
I got a big tractor, manure spreader, new trailer, atv, new truck, plow truck, and she loves me to death for getting her a horse.
Heck, we even built a new house and a 60x100 riding arena (that is really nice for working on cars in, but onlt when she's not home).
It is true that, like ford trucks, one quickly turns into more, so you gotta be careful.
Yeserday she said, "I thik we need a bigger truck. Like a 350 dually. Something that will pull the 4-horse trailer I was looking at."
How can you not love a woman that says THAT to ya.
to clarify my comment about the Pinto blowing up if he hit it in the rear end.... I knew he was talking about a horse. I was trying to make a funny. I guess I failed.
*tucks tail between legs and goes home....*
