I think the Mazda-designed B-Series stopped in 93 with the B-2600. The 94&up B-3000 and B-4000 were just rebadged Rangers built in the same plant. I once had a Mazda salesman try to convince me that the Mazda version of the Ranger received sorted, higher-quality parts on the same assembly line. I laughed all the way home.
I can't recall if I saw this, a picture or just heard it--but when you open the hood of a B3000/4000, aren't there Ford logos on many parts, like the engine cover on a 4.0 for example?
Looking on the Mazda site, no 2010 showing, just '09s.....
yeah the mazda pickup was just a few emblems, diff headlights, tail lights fenders grill..ect little stuff. same with the mazda version of the explorer.
The Mazda B series trucks were last available in 09 when production stopped. Since that happened we are seeing some Mazda styled front fenders and bed sides on some models of the 2010 Ranger. However the Mazda style bed sides were available on the 07 Ranger STX. Ford is either using up the remaining Mazda parts or will continue using them just to offer some outward change for the Ranger.
