Thanks for the info,you da man....I couldnt find nothing....But...I just picked up the ex and man they did a fantastic job on it...The custom sub enclosure looks and fits just like the spare....He actually carpeted it in gray and it has raised letters that say JL at the bottom(JL sub)...It is bolted threw the box to the factory bracket and to remove it you would have to remove the sub to unbolt it...
At the bottom it has a port hole coming out and access to plug and unplug the sub...Great idea...I actually like it like it is as he actually put a binding around the carpet like a cover would have had...Pics to come,just waiting on the wife to get home with it..
All built in 1 day and they installed and connected my new 5 channel Alpine amp...It cost $300 for the custom box without a sub,he may do cheaper if there was a few ordered,its Mad Marks in Bradenton Florida...They built alot of custom boxes,one for my chevy powered jaguar with the leaping jaguar coming out of it,one in my vette I posted pics of and my Grandnational too...

I would have had it a complete bandpass with the speaker hidden inside the box so no speaker is shown but the space was needed for a 12,I could of done it with a 10...I could still cover it...Just with the factory speakers amplified and this sub enclosure it really sounds clean...

If your looking for the gray carpeted spare tire cover I think I have one kicking around. I lifted my X so I took out the spare and its cover. I live a couple hours away on the other side of the hill, (East Wenatchee) and if you want it you can just have it.
